Studies political ideologies that shape values, beliefs, and actions of contemporary regimes and political movements. Topics include liberalism, conservatism, socialism, communism, and fascism in theory and contemporary practice; and totalitarianism and nationalism in postindustrial and developing societies. May not be repeated for credit.
