Philosophy and the Science of Happiness Conference

Philosophy and the Science of Happiness Student Conference and Essay Contest - April 14th, 2012
Students are invited to submit papers on any topic relating to philosophy, though submissions relating to philosophy and the science of happiness are encouraged. The essay contest is solely for undergraduate students. The main page for this conference is PHILOSOPHY.GMU.EDU/CONFERENCE .
Rules
Papers should be 10-15 pages in length or have a reading time of approximately 20-30 minutes. When submitting papers, attach an additional document including:
- Title of paper
- 150-word abstract
- Author's name
- Author's institutional affiliation
- Author's status (undergraduate or graduate)
- Author's e-mail address
- Topic area(s) of paper
- Assertion whether or not author wants to be considered for prizes / be judged as part of the contest
Be sure that your actual papers are formatted for blind review; that is, do not include any indication of the author, her affiliation, etc., on the paper itself.
Deadlines
Submissions are due by March 1st, 2012.
