Dr. J.P. Singh leads a team of researchers across George Mason University to study artificial intelligence (AI) effects on global culture.

Dr. Light was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as assistant secretary for international affairs of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) on Aug. 11 2021. Professor Light is currently on leave from his position as a long-standing member of Mason's Department of Philosophy, where he teaches environmental philosophy and the normative dimensions of climate change policy, and is the Director of the Institute for Philosophy and Public Policy.
