This course introduces students to central debates in moral philosophy, addressing questions such
as: What makes an action right or wrong? Is morality objective or relative? What roles do
consequences, duties, and virtues play in ethical decision-making? We will examine key
traditions and apply them to contemporary moral problems. Students will practice interpreting,
analyzing, and critiquing philosophical arguments, while developing their own positions through
writing and discussion.
