Environmental Policy
Environmental challenges are both scientific and social, ecological and economic. As a philosophy major, you may already be interested in the ethical and political dimensions of environmentalism. A minor in environmental policy can complement your major by adding further perspectives from science and public policy. The addition of the minor will provide new intellectual challenges, a greater focus for your philosophy degree, and a more robust resume, especially if your goal is to use your philosophical training to seek employment in agencies, research teams, or advocacy groups that work on environmental and conservation policy.
